We provide a suite of tools to assist online teaching and support in-person teaching. All the tools listed have been vetted to meet security and digital accessibility standards.

Calendly (limited seats)

Scheduling tool that integrates with Outlook. Please note: we have limited seats for Calendly, and access is only given to members of the GSE community who meet our requirements.

Cidi Labs TidyUp

A Canvas course site cleanup tool that helps teaching teams identify unused files, duplicates, and outdated content.

Harmonize

An alternative to Canvas discussions and assignments, offering robust collaboration opportunities and a suite of peer review tools.

Learning Experience Platform (LXP)

Harvard Business School and HUIT (Harvard University Information Technology) developed an asynchronous and blended learning platform. Support is currently limited.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 combines document collaboration and sharing, email and calendar, productivity apps, and communication tools into a single, web-based platform.

Panopto

(in conjunction with the Multimedia Team)

Harvard's video platform for lecture capture and media storage.

Perusall

An alternative to Canvas discussions and assignments, offering robust collaboration opportunities and a suite of peer review tools.

PingPong

Create custom bots with the LLM (large language models) platform developed by the Harvard Kennedy School.

Accessible file conversion software embedded into Canvas.

SensusAccess

SensusAccess is an accessible file conversion tool available in every Canvas site. Find and use it via the "Convert a file" menu option (if enabled), and via the blue "S" logo on Canvas pages.

Slack Enterprise

A flexible messaging platform that can be integrated into every course for asynchronous and synchronous communication.

Helps instructors create increasingly personalized learning experiences with real-time stats.

Watermark Student Learning & Licensure

Canvas integration to help guide students through the TTL (Teaching and Teacher Leadership) program by measuring student progress and providing reports for Massachusetts educator licensure requirements.
