When do I get access to my Canvas Course site?

Are you enrolled via my.harvard?

If you are a student or instructional team member, please first check whether you are enrolled in your course via my.harvard.

Please keep in mind that some courses have lottery-based enrollments or require the permission of the instructor, so always check the course information, too! Moreover, if you have not fully completed enrollment, or have a registration hold, you will not be enrolled in the course Canvas site.

Issues with course enrollment (non-Canvas)

• Students, Faculty, and Faculty Coordinators: please contact the Registrar. 
• TAs/TFs: please contact HR.

I'm enrolled in the course, but I do not see the course on Canvas.

First, it can take up two hours before you will have access to your Canvas course site. 

Also, we recommend double-checking "All Courses" if you do not see it on your dashboard. Here, you'll be able to see if you are in the course, but perhaps the teaching team has not yet published it!
