How do I get a premium Calendly account?
Calendly is a powerful scheduling automation platform that includes features such as synchronizing with your Outlook calendar and automated Zoom meeting creation.
The free version of Calendly is available to all and is sufficient for most users. HGSE has a limited number of premium Calendly accounts. The key additional features of the premium accounts are:
- Group (1 to many) and collective (2 on 1) event types.
- Multiple calendars.
- Unlimited 1-on-1 event types.
- Live chat support from Calendly.

We encourage everyone to consider carefully whether they need a premium account, as opposed to the free account, for their particular use case. If it is unlikely that you will use the premium features, please do not request a premium license -- premium Calendly licenses are extremely expensive for the school. The following groups are eligible for a premium license:
- Full-time faculty.
- Full-time staff with responsibilities related to student support.
- Adjunct faculty who are actively teaching.
- TA/TFs with active course responsibilitiies.
- Temporary or part-time staff with a clear and specific need related to student support.

Premium Calendly account users must retain an appropriate role at the school and utilize Calendly to create at least one event within a rolling three month period. In other words, if you do not use your Calendly account, then the premium Calendly license will be rescinded and you will drop down to the free features only.
