Kaltura is Harvard GSE's video hosting platform. Kaltura integrates with Canvas via the Media Gallery link in the left-side course navigation menu, and video the toolbar widget in the Canvas Rich Content Editor. Different content within Canvas can be organized and shared in different ways, either by using sections or groups within a Canvas site.
For instance, you could use sections to apply differentiated due dates for Section A and Section B, for a particular assignment or graded discussion. Groups also function in a similar manner in regards to group assignments.

Videos that you have uploaded into one course's Media Gallery will not automatically appear in another course's Media Gallery; you have to manually publish them to each course that you would like to share videos to.
You are able to publish videos directly from the current course's Media Gallery, or you can publish videos directly from My Media.
Once you have published your videos, they will appear in the course's Media Gallery for other course members with staff-level access (TA/TF/Teacher) to view and have access to.
If you would like to give individuals access to your videos so that they can either edit or publish your video(s), or do both on your behalf, you can add them as a collaborator to your video(s) with two levels of permissions. By default the uploader is also called the owner of the video and automatically has full access to editing and publishing the video.
